Welcome

Below you will find the details for the new Lunar Month.

The New Moon energy of each cycle, carries itself throughout the entire month, creating an underlying current that influences us on a deeper, more continuous level. Alongside this, we move through the daily lunar frequencies as they activate us—initiating embodiment, alchemy and integration with the themes of each gateway and supporting us in our evolutionary journey.

Each lunar day also holds a particular astrological frequency. You can think of this as layered influences moving together.  The New Moon energy will be present throughout the month, interwoven with the daily astrological sign the Moon is moving through, shaping the subtle emotional and energetic landscape of each day.

SEPT New Moon in VIRGO

VIRGO— THE DEVOTIONAL PRIESTESS

This month awakens us through the field of the Devotional Priestess — the feminine presence who understands that the sacred is not found only in peak moments of revelation, but in the humble, repeated act of tending what is already alive. She does not chase transcendence. She kneels at the ordinary altar of the body, the home, the daily task, the wound, and treats each one as worthy of her full devotion. Her holiness is not separate from her humility; it is made of it.

Where August’s Leo fire asked us to rise and inhabit our radiance boldly, September asks us to root that radiance into practice. Having remembered our light, we are now invited to discover what it means to live in devoted, embodied relationship with it — not through grand gestures, but through the quiet discipline of care. The Devotional Priestess reminds us that a flame is not sustained by how brightly it once burned, but by how faithfully it is tended.

Virgo is an earth sign, and her medicine is embodiment — the translation of spirit into matter, of insight into practice, of love into service. Esoterically, Virgo has long been associated with the harvest and the temple: the moment when what was planted becomes nourishment, and the space where devotion is given daily form through ritual. She is the keeper of the threshold between the sacred and the mundane, insisting that they were never separate to begin with. To wash a bowl, to tend a wound, to keep a small promise — done with presence, these become forms of prayer.

Psychologically, Virgo’s deeper medicine is discernment offered in service of love, not fear. Her distortion — perfectionism, self-criticism, the endless fixing — arises when devotion curdles into anxiety, when tending the self or others becomes a way of earning worth rather than an expression of it. The Priestess restored knows the difference: she tends because she loves what is already whole, not because she fears what is broken. This month invites us to meet our own inner critic and ask, gently, whether it is discernment or fear speaking.

Virgo also carries the medicine of sacred refinement — not purification as the rejection of what is messy, human, or imperfect, but the gentle discernment of what obscures our deeper essence. She helps us recognize what nourishes life and what no longer does, what belongs to the Soul and what has been accumulated through conditioning, fear, and expectation. Her work is not to perfect what is broken, but to tend the conditions through which what is already whole can more fully reveal itself.

Our ancestral mothers understood this medicine intimately — the healers, herbalists, midwives, temple-keepers, medicine women, and priestesses whose devotion was rarely witnessed publicly, yet held entire communities together. Their power lived not in spectacle, but in faithfulness: showing up, again and again, for what needed tending. During this cycle, we are invited to remember that same quiet lineage, this feminine lineage,  living within our own hands.

The Virgo Devotional Priestess will reveal herself through all seven feminine soul gateways this cycle — as Dark Mother, Creatrix, Medicine Woman, Sacred Mother, Wild Woman, Feminine Mystic, and Ecstatic Feminine. Each gateway becomes an invitation to ask: what here already deserves my devotion, exactly as it is? As we move through this field together, we discover that our humility and our radiance were never opposites — devotion is simply love, given a daily form.

Lunar Medicine Daily Reflection

At this New Moon, the cycle empties completely before beginning again. In this fertile dark, the Dark Mother does not ask us to build anything yet — she asks only that we notice what has quietly earned our devotion this past season: which roots held us, which unglamorous daily faithfulness kept us fed and steady. Belonging, this month, is not a grand event. It is tended, moment by moment, the way soil is tended — unseen, essential, and easily taken for granted.

The Root Gateway is where this awakening begins. Before her tending can flow outward toward creativity, power, love, truth, vision, or bliss, it must first be offered here — to the threshold that bridges, and the two become one; the past and the future, the ascent and descent, the expansion and the dissolution. Here in the ground beneath our very own feet, in the body that carries her, in the ordinary faithfulness that quietly sustained our belonging.

VIRGO — Devotional Priestess

Feminine Lens: Sacred tending · Devotion · Healing · Discernment · Embodied wisdom · Humility · Service to life

Patriarchal Distortions: Perfectionism · Self-criticism · Over-functioning · Fixing · Earning worth through service

This Virgo New Moon invites you to remember that devotion is a relationship to enter — with your own roots, your own body, your own quiet faithfulness. You are invited to notice what has already been faithfully tending you, and to offer that same humble care in return. True sovereignty is not built through striving, but restored through the willingness to kneel, gently, before what is already sacred in your ordinary life.

Root Gateway: Belonging- Wisdom- Union

In the dark cradle of this New Moon, the current rests in stillness—held within the womb of the Mother where all things return to their origin. Here the cycle completes and begins again in quiet union, where the soul remembers its place within the whole. This is a field of profound belonging, where ancient body-wisdom roots itself once more in the living ground of being. In this sacred no-thingness, every possibility rests unformed yet present, waiting in silence for the next expression of life to emerge.

Shadow of the Root Gateway

From Self-Blame (Root Gateway) to Wisdom
This shadow convinces us that everything is our fault—that we are the cause of pain, failure, or suffering in others. Rooted in centuries of scapegoating, persecution, and punishment, self-blame keeps us apologizing for simply existing. It disconnects us from the ground of our being and from the truth of our inherent worth.

The Medicine: When healed, self-blame transforms into sacred responsibility—a reclamation of our power to choose, speak, and act from embodied truth rather than inherited shame. From this place of rooted presence, we no longer carry the burdens of others, but walk in the grounded clarity of our own knowing. This is the beginning of Wisdom—not the wisdom of the intellect, that is knowledge, but the deep, earth-bound knowing that arises from integration, discernment, and self-trust.

Affirmation: I AM WISDOM, I BELONG, I AM IN UNION WITH THE UNIVERSE

Daily Lunar Medicine Cultivation
BreathWork
1.      Place your hand on the corresponding physical location of today’s gateway. Feel the energy of your hands activating this gateway, as you slow down your breath and become present of your inner world.
2.     Notice whether today is yin rising (front body) or yang descending (back body). Begin today’s breath rhythm, and focus the breath on the gateway either toward the front or the back of the body, Breathe slowly and mindfully, letting go of all other agendas, worries, judgments or concerns… giving yourself time to just be with your breath.
3.     Continue this breath until you feel merged with the breath cycle, where the breath is breathing you—can be 5 min, 10 or 15 minutes.
Voice Activation
4.     Pause for a few seconds as we shift into voice activation. Continue your hand placement in the corresponding gateway.
5.     Gently begin to sound directly into the corresponding gateway, slowly… allowing the sound to move you. This is not performative, so it does not need to sound any particular way—no judgment, no good or bad. Allow your sound to come from deep within, organically, slow or fast, loud or low, high tone or low tone.
6.     Continue the vocalization, until you naturally feel complete. Then allow yourself to pause and come into silence. Notice what has shifted; mentally, emotionally, physically somatically. Let yourself just observe—not making any conclusions.  Allow yourself to be present, in silence, for a few minutes, just noticing.
Integration: Humming, Vision, Breath
7.     Become aware of the body of the moon, at today’s phase.
8.     Envision the body of the moon at the corresponding gateway in your body and allow yourself to breathe into Her.
9.     With each breath, envision the body of the moon grow expanding larger and larger within you.
10.   As you breathe, add in gentle humming with each exhale—allowing yourself to fully merge with Her body.  Breathing slowly, humming gently and envisioning the moon growing with each breath.
11.    As the moon grows, allow it to encompass your physical body completely, and grow past the physical boundaries of your body. Slowing and gently, through breath and humming, the moon ends up holding you—as you see yourself sitting within the body of the moon.
12.   Continue a few breaths here, until you feel completely dissolved and merged with Her.
13.    Allow the body of the moon to completely surround you, hold you, and nourish you.
14.   After a few minutes allow yourself to come into completion, bowing in gratitude, to the moon, the Universe and Source Mother all around you.
15.   Allow the gratitude to expand through your heart… and out in to the world.
